Storage and Reconstitution
Keep sealed vials at -20°C, away from light and moisture. After reconstitution, keep the solution at 2-8°C and use it within 4 weeks, or freeze single-use aliquots at -20°C. On a 10mg vial, aliquoting is the main defence against oxidation of methionine 27. Keep vials tightly sealed with little headspace and away from oxidising agents.

How to reconstitute and handle
Bring the vial and the bacteriostatic water to room temperature and swab both stoppers with alcohol. Add the water slowly down the inside wall, never onto the powder, and swirl gently until dissolved. Do not shake or vortex. The solution should be clear and colourless. Set the fill volume from your target concentration, then split the stock into single-use aliquots straight away. Label each with the date and refrigerate.
- Hold aliquots at -20°C and return them to cold storage promptly after each withdrawal. Do not leave dilute solution at room temperature across a session.
